Where do I find processed american cheese at the store?

I'm making cheese dip and the recipe calls for "an 8oz package of processed american cheese." What exactly is this and where do I look for it in the store? Is it in a box like Velveeta? Thanks.

Velveeta is processed american cheese and you can find it in the craker aisle. Velveeta and salsa is really yummy. 1 package of cream cheese and salsa is good too.

Because people buy it. If theres a demand for it someone will sell it.

Velveta Cheese is in the dairy section of the cold case at any grocery store. It is usually either next to the cheddar somewhere or around the cheese spreads in the jars.

In the dairy case
