American??????????

other than being born here, what other factors do you think contributes to being an "american"?

hmm..

being over weight

judgemental

hypocracy

racism

predjudism

conservatism

Behind times

and oh... deffinatly not home of the free

you get the accent

I think Kent is confusing "Americans" with evangelical Christians. I don't appreciate that.

Superficial

Religious extremist

To prioritize a leader´s personal life over competency

Highly medicated (all kind of pills)

Threatening to sue for all kind of reasons when unhappy

In the belief that everyone else wants to live in the US

Proud without knowing of what

In the belief to own a true democracy but incapable of tolerating different view without insulting each others.

In the belief that being "American" gives them a special status while traveling.

Into personal drama

why

being patriotic

being proud of who you are

being free to do and say whatever

living the life

enjoying the land you live on

A "real, down home, honest to goodness American" has to be a gung-ho, knuckle-dragging, flag-waving, beer-chuggin', "football" worshipping, homo-phobic, chauvinistic, belching, bigotted, bloated, biased, blubbering, baffoon-bastard-bubba!

being fat and thinking George Bush is an amazing human being.

Oh, thank God I'm Canadian.

Loving my country, even though it treats me as 'less than', and wanting it to be better, not just for me, but for everyone. Voting, because that right is a precious gift we have. Celebrating our differences, because our diversity makes us stronger.
