What islands can i visit without an american passport?

I've been in States for 2 years and i have a green card.I want to go on vacation but don't know what islands i can go to without an american passport.I'm an american citizen, not a resident yet.

I believe you stated things backwards. You are NOT an American citizen yet, you are a permanent resident with a green card. Actually, you are supposed to keep a valid passport from your home country at all times. If you do not have a passport from your home country, you may apply for one at the embassy of that country in the U.S. Then you may travel anywhere you would like in the world. With no passport, you can travel within the U.S. and to U.S. territories, but if you have a passport from your home country, you can fly anywhere. See site below and read section on International travel. Also, since you have only been in the U.S.2 years, you have probably seen very little of the U.S. The country is huge...and there are many great places to visit inside the U.S. for vacation...you do not even need to leave the U.S. to have a great vacation. Would be a great idea to get to know the U.S. Did anyone mention Hawaii?

You can go to Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix), Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. You can also go to the Florida Keys.

Long, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard. None of the Caribbean Islands or Bermuda.

I believe St. Thomas and other US territory islands or stay here and visit hilton head island or something but if you are an american citizen why don't you get your passport?

Block Island, Puerta Ricco, Ireland and a lot more hope this will help

Rhode Island
