What percentage American Indian to you have to be to qualify for a scholarship?

Is there a specific percentage or can you apply as long as you have some native american in you

the scholarships cme from the tribe/nation. if you aren't a citizen of that nation, you don't get to apply.

Higher education funding opportunities for American Indians are for those who are CITIZENS or MEMBERS of US Federally Recognized Tribes. These opportunities are NOT based on heritage or ancestry but CITIZENSHIP. If you are enrolled (no matter your blood quantum) you qualify. If you are not enrolled you do not qualify.

It doesn't matter what percent you are, you just have to be a registered member of the tribe.

Each tribe has different qualifications, you at least have to have records of being a descendant of a tribe member.

As Brings Light and K have stated

you need to have a ROLL NUMBER.

IF you do not know what that is you do not have one. Do not apply.

Free Open University is free to all Native Americans but it is a difficult college and requires a lot of writing.

Depends on the scholarship.
