What ways are American families better then other families throughout the world? In what ways worse?

please no sarcasitic response. I have nothing at all against american families or any other countries. This is a question to help me build on research.

Well, American families have more oppurtunities. We are richer than a lot of other nations. We have more oppurtunities to learn, to have a job, to have a career, etc. Life, in general, is easier and nicer. Not to say we don't have our own troubles here in the U.S.- we certainly do. In other countries, things don't come as easily though. Education is not as valued. Oppurtunites are not as numerous. We are very lucky, I must say!
